Dave and Cindy have been on Staff with Campus Crusade for Christ for 24 years.

After living in Budapest, Hungary for 8 1/2 years, they returned to the States a year ago to give leadership to their International Campus Staff (ICS). ICS are Campus Crusade Staff who are serving long-term overseas and work on university campuses around the world. Dave and Cindy recruit, prepare and shepherd Staff before they depart for overseas; develop them spiritually and professionally while they live overseas; receive them back and help them get integrated when they re-enter the US after serving overseas.

In-country Responsibilities:

• Work in partnership with our in-country leaders regarding the development and care of our Staff.
• Be responsible to lead when there are personal, political and medical crises that arise.
• Promote personal connections with our Staff serving overseas through on-location visits, attending conferences, phone calls, etc.
• Debrief, resource and track our Staff during furlough visits to the States.

Re-entry Responsibilities:

• Shepherd Staff through transition decisions as they consider returning to the States long-term.
• Be involved in assessment and placement process for returning Staff.
• Coach returning overseas Staff through the transition process of leaving and returning to the States.
• Debrief and resource Staff as they return to the States.
• Provide on-going transition care (generally two years) to ensure that returning Staff are transitioning well, become known and are able to make their best contribution to the ministry.

Prayer Needs:

• Adjust quickly to their new home and community.
• Find a wonderful church to worship within and call home.
• Be dependent on God as we approach and serve in this new role.
