We have worked with The Navigators in Bulgaria since 2004. Our ministry involves discipleship and Bible studies as well as friendship evangelism. Our deepest concern is to help Christians in Bulgaria get a vision and understanding of what discipleship means and how crucial it is for the healthy body of Christ. We help people grow in their faith so that they will be able to feed themselves by studying the Word of God and then to likewise go out and help others to grow. Martin goes camping in the beautiful mountains of Bulgaria with several young men. His goal is to build closer relationships with them which will result in the future discipleship opportunities. He organizes movie evenings for another group of young people followed by discussion to help them to build a sound worldview. We also meet regularly with several young people raised up in orphanages.

We have two children - a boy named Edi (4 years old) and a girl named Yoana (1 year old).

Prayer Needs:

  • For Bulgarian people to be open for the Word of God.
  • For the ministry of Navigators in Bulgaria - since the American Navigators left Bulgaria we are the only couple in the ministry and we need wisdom to develop it.
  • To meet the right people - teachable and open for God.
  • To learn how to organize our time in the ministry as well as in our family with young children.
  • Their home group (they are encouraged with the way people are growing).
  • Good health and increased capacity for them both.
